West Bromwich Albion have secured the signing of veteran goalkeeper Dean Kiely making this the third signing of the january transfer market. Kiely has spent the last two months on loan at Luton from Portsmouth, but he has now penned a permanent deal with The Baggies - who have moved quickly to replace Russell Hoult, who has been suspended by the club. Moybray said, "We're delighted to have Dean on board. He's enjoyed an illustrious career at the top level and brings genuine competition for places. His professionalism will only enhance the goalkeeping department."
Russell Hoult's future is expected to be decided in the next 24 hours by an Albion disciplinary committee, which included Mowbray. The Baggies boss was also interested in signing Middlesbrough goalkeeper Brad Jones but a bid of £300,000 was rejected for the Australian.
