Jonathan Leko will continue his football education at Bristol City after signing for the Robins on a season's long loan.

Leko has been on the fringe of Albion's first team and will now aim to get first team experience at Ashton Gate.

The England Under-19 made his professional debut back in 2015 in a league cup tie at Norwich. He made his league debut still aged 16 when he came off the bench against Sunderland.

“We need to get Jonathon out playing League football and at Championship level this is a great opportunity for him,” said Albion boss Tony Pulis.

Leko is the first of Albion's promising Academy graduates who are expected to exit the club on loan over the next few days. Kane Wilson, Rekeem Harper and Sam Field could all depart on similar deals with interest from League One and Championship clubs.
