Albion's second string run rout at The Hawthorns hitting six of the best against Huddersfield last night. A Craig Beattie brace and goals from Shelton Martis, Sebastian Lake-Gaskin, Joss Labadie and Bartosz Slusarski ensured an easy victory for the home side.

First team members Beattie, Martis and Slusarski were joined in a strong starting line-up by recent signing Michal Danek - making his first appearance in Albion colours, Pele, 'Bostin' Cesar, David Worral and Kim Do-heon.

First-half goals from Shelton Martis, Sebastian Lake-Gaskin, Joss Ladabie and Craig Beattie saw the Baggies head into half-time with a comfortable 4-1 lead. The home side did not have to wait long in the second-half to increase their advantage with Bartosz Slusarski scoring on his return from Blackpool. Beattie secured the win with his second of the game in the 83rd minute as he cut in from the left and fired into the top corner of the net.
