Neil Clement continued his recovery from injury with a goal as the second XI cruised to a 6-3 victory.  The 29-year old hadn't played in almost 13 weeks and was replaced after 45 minutes.  Fellow defender Martin Albrecthsen played the full game in his own comeback from a knee injury.

The game saw 16-year old goalkeeper Gavin Carlin made his second-string debut and the Baggies initially fell behind with Craig Beattie equalising after 20 minutes.  Clement then returned with a trademark thunderbolt to put Craig Shakespeare's men in the lead after half -an-hour only for the Bantams to reply with a goal of their own.

Youngster Mo Saied scored in the 75th with Richard Chaplow - 80 minutes - and Josh Knight - 82 minutes - both scoring before Saied completed the rout in the last minute of the game.
