Former West Bromwich Albion centre-half, Matt Carbon has signed for League Two leaders, MK Dons.

Following a successful trial after a spell playing in New Zealand, Carbon, a free agent, has signed an initial two-month deal.

"It's a great opportunity for me at a club which is moving in the right direction." Carbon told the Don's official website.

The 32-year old joined the Baggies in 1998 for £800,000 before moving on a free transfer to neighbours Walsall after making over 100 apperances and scoring 5 times.
