Once again Albion will face an opening day away fixture during their assault on the Premiership under Tony Mowbray against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in the toughest of the newly promoted sides' fixtures on Saturday 16th August. The Championship champions have received no favours with last season's UEFA Cup qualifiers Everton visiting The Hawthorns a week later with Gary Megon's Bolton the third fixture in the campaign on Saturday 30th August at the Reebok Stadium kicking-off the season.

The Baggies will face local rivals Aston Villa firstly at home on September 20th with the return fixture scheduled for 10th January.

The hectic Christmas period will see Albion host Man City on the 20th December, visiting Stamford Bridge on Boxing Day and play Tottenham at The Hawthorns two days later.

Albion's end to the season is equally as difficult as the start with Wigan visiting on 9th May and Liverpool visiting the shrine a week later. The last game of the season will again see the Baggies away at Blackburn on 24th May.
