Albion blitzed their way into the Pontin's Holiday League Cup Final after demolishing a Barnsley second-string at The Hawthorns last night. Bartosz Slusarski grabbed the headlines scoring four goals against the Tykes with Joss Labadie and David Worrall also finding the net.

Slusarski scored a brace in either half with Barnsley striker Kim Christensen scoring a mere consolation as the Baggies headed into the break with a 4-1 advantage. The 6-1 hammering also saw the return of Jared Hodgkiss from injury with the young defender getting 57 minutes under his belt.

First-team members Michal Danek, Shelton Martis, 'Bostin' Cesar and Kim Do-heon also made the starting line-up. Former midfielder Andy Johnson also made an appearance at centre-half for the visitors.
