Albion boss Tony Mowbray has admitted that the club are searching for a new goalkeeper to add to the existing squad. At present Mowbray has both Dean Kiely and Michal Danek competing for the No.1 jersey, and with third-choice 'keeper Luke Daniels expected again to go out on loan after impressing at Motherwell last season, the Baggies boss is now in the hunt for a new man between the posts.

"It's something we have talked about and three goalkeepers is probably the thing to do in the Premier League," Mowbray said.

"Luke Daniels is coming back having done well at Motherwell.

"I spoke to their manager last week and they are happy with him but we will probably be letting him play some more games next season if we can find the right club for him.

"It is difficult for keepers when you run with three.

"Having good competition is generally good and it's down to them on the training ground.

"They know they have to be very focused out on the pitch because there are two other guys waiting the grab an opportunity and it's up to me to know when to give those people the opportunity."
