Promising Everton youngster Brendan Galloway has joined Albion on loan for the rest of the season.

The 20-year-old, who can play at either left back or centre half, becomes Albion’s second signing of the summer.

Galloway, who joined Everton from MK Dons, is seen by the club as a specialist left-sided full back and will be a welcome addition to Albion’s squad.

"We're very pleased to sign him, we're particularly pleased that it's for a year as well,” said David Kemp, Albion’s assistant manager.

"He'll have the chance to make an impact here and I'm sure he will, he's a very talented boy.

"We look forward to seeing him play."

The young defender has represented England at Under 17, Under 18 and Under 19, despite being born in Zimbabwe.

"I’m delighted," said Galloway.

"It’s a great club and I’m really looking forward to getting started.

“My aims are to play and work hard for the team and help win as many matches as I can, it’s all about winning.

“I think for me personally, it’s really important to gain more experience. Coming here is the perfect opportunity to do that.

“I can’t wait to get started and put the shirt on.”

The defender will wear the Number 20 shirt and could make his debut tomorrow night at Northampton.
