West Brom have completed the capture of Beira Mar left-back Tininho in a £230,000 deal. Tininho has signed a two-year contract with the option of a further year following a successful trial spell. The 26-year-old joined the Baggies on trial on Monday and played the full 90 minutes of the 5-1 win at Northampton on Wednesday night when he set up two goals. Tininho, who was born in Mozambique, has become Albion's second import from Portugal in a week, following hot on the heels of Filipe Teixeira's arrival.

Albion manager Tony Mowbray said: "Tininho's got a wonderful personality, a nice left foot and is a decent athlete. I've certainly got no worries about him with the ball. Just like Filipe, he'll need time to adjust to the different demands of the English game but we believe there's enough raw material there for him to make a positive impact at the club."
