West Brom manager Tony Mowbray has taken Portuguese defender Tininho on trial. The 26-year-old full-back, who is currently on the books at Beira Mar, has joined the Baggies for training. Meanwhile, Kevin Phillips has returned to full training. The Baggies frontman had been restricted to light duties after complaining a hamstring tightness during Albion's tour of Croatia and Slovenia. But the 33-year-old is now back fit again and could feature alongside Tininho in Wednesday evening's friendly at Northampton. New signing Felipe Teixeira is expected to make his first appearance for West Brom against the Cobblers after signing for £600,000 from Academica de Coimbra.
