The Baggies, along with Midlands rivals The Blues were relegated after Pompeys 2-1 win at Wigan.

Blues could only manage a 0-0 home draw against Newcastle and are four points behind Pompey with both temas having one game to play.

Albion have two games to play but are now 9 points behind Pompey.
