Baggies told to play with freedom

West Brom assistant manager Mark Venus has urged the faltering Baggies to "play with freedom" when they travel to QPR on Saturday.Venus, who is second in command to manager Tony Mowbray at The Hawthorns, has seen Albion pick up just two points from a possible 15 in their last five Championship games. As a result, the Baggies have tumbled from second to sixth in the table heading into the weekend's clash with John Gregory's relegation-threatened side.
Venus said: "All the footballers here are disappointed about the way results have gone recently but as management staff, all we can ask is the players continue to give us everything. We have produced some very good performances at times this season and shown we can play with a bit of freedom. QPR will definitely be up for it, but I would like to see us play with that freedom when we go there."
