Tony Mowbray has urged Luke Moore to play himself into his thoughts after the England Under-21 striker returned to full fitness. Moore missed the visit to The Emirates Stadium after picking up a thigh injury. However the Birmingham born man has now returned to full fitness impressing Mowbray with the Baggies boss challenging him to fulfil his potential and earn a place in the Albion starting XI.

"This week in training Luke has looked very bright and sharp," the Baggies boss commented.

"I think Luke feels he belongs in the Premier League and he wants to get out there and do it.

"The talent is there but he's got to work very hard to get an opportunity.

"When he gets the opportunity, he's got to grasp it so he forces my hand when I'm picking teams.

"He looks very hungry to get going and I'm sure he'll be looking to play his part - starting this weekend.

"I'm sure he's eager to get his goal tally ticking along early on."
