Chairman promises no sales

Peace, who announced a pre-tax loss of £300,000 on the Albion's half-year trading up to December 31st said that even if the club are relegated star players will not have to be sold.

"We confirm that there is no necessity to sell any players at the end of the season," Peace told BBC WM.

"If, however, for footballing reasons, sales do occur, any proceeds will be reinvested in the playing squad by way of transfer fees and salaries."
