Luton manager Kevin Blackwell has made his fourth signing of the summer in the form of defender Chris Perry on a two-year contract. The 34-year-old has joined the Hatters after being released by Championship side West Brom, who in June declined to activate the option of keeping him at The Hawthorns for another 12 months. Perry's professional career had begun at Wimbledon where he came through the ranks to make his senior debut in 1991 but eight years later he switched to Tottenham for an £8million fee. Next Perry joined Charlton after a successful loan spell, before signing for Albion on a free transfer in July last year. The centre-half's last appearance for the Baggies was in the 1-0 Championship play-off final defeat to Derby at Wembley in May.
