West Brom defender Neil Clement is hoping to re-write the Baggies' history books by securing a hat-trick of promotion successes.Albion take on Derby in the Championship play-off final at Wembley on Monday and the victors can count on banking at least a £60million windfall from increased TV rights as well as commercial and other revenues. But the club's longest-serving player is more interested in medals than money and having helped the club into the top flight in 2002 and then 2004, the 28-year-old is intent on becoming the first Albion player to win three promotions.
Clement said: "It will be a fantastic achievement but I would rather have stayed up than kept yo-yoing up and down. I am looking forward to the day, like all the players are, because it will be a great place to, hopefully, get promotion and make it a hat-trick. I have also been at Albion for seven years and it would be nice to cap a lucky seventh year in good style."
