He said: "We have been talking to clubs interested in Curtis, yes, but our position is that players will only leave the club when they meet our valuations. I would like to think I am a compassionate manager and Curtis is a young player who is struggling to get into the right frame of mind to play - that is why he has been absent from the teams, but if the right offer does not come in before the transfer window closes, then Curtis' situation changes, and we will expect him to be fit and available for selection."
Reports have suggested that the Baggies duo have had a dispute in regards to the transfer, but Mowbray moved quickly to deny such speculation. "There is nothing personal," he continued. "There is no issue between us and we have not fallen out."
