West Brom captain Curtis Davies has admitted "if I don't laugh, I'll cry" after being ruled out for the rest of the season with a broken foot. The 22-year-old suffered the injury in the midweek defeat to Crystal Palace after already suffering the same injury at Sunderland in August.
He told the club's official website: "The injury is a broken foot, the fifth metatarsal, the same bone I did earlier in the season. That's just a coincidence and not because of any weakness. It's been eight months since the original injury and the bone had healed properly. Getting an injury like this is the worst thing that could have happened now that we're at the most important part of the season. If I don't laugh, I'll cry, so you just have to keep plodding on."
