Editor's Blog: Molineux joy leaves Baggies on the brink

I'm not going to lie to you I was a nervous wreck all day Tuesday. All day long I had that terrible feeling in your stomach somewhere between excitement and sheer fear. While I was never too concerned with what Wolves had to offer, we've seen numerous times this season that we are our own worst enemy - especially from set-pieces. The introduction of Neil Clement into the back four has helped ease my nerves in recent weeks but I still take a deep breath every time a ball is swung into our penalty area.

However as we've shown in recent weeks, you can't rule Albion out when we've got the amount of quality running throughout our squad. After Wembley we seem to have found our second wind. I mentioned the last nine minutes at Blackpool in my last blog, and while we couldn't get all three points against Watford, surely six more points will see us go up!

Hats off must go to Mowbray for sticking to his football philosophies home and away in his first 18-months at the club. If you would have told me as I trotted away from Bryan Robson's last game against Southend seriously considering breaking up with West Brom that we'd be playing that this style of football I'd have asked for a pint of the same.

While they find it hard to admit, Wolves fans can only dream of watching a side pass their rivals off the pitch in their own backyard. Only a few weeks ago I was in two minds as to whether we could really go on and secure automatic promotion, now we could be only 180 minutes away.
