Extra Training For Baggies Squad

The Baggies boss felt that two or three of the players took liberties that cost Albion a 1-0 defeat at Highfield Road and ordered the team in for an extra traing session.

"There were a couple out there, actually two or three, who were playing self-indulgent football which means we'll be in for extra training tomorrow morning because we've got things to work on," he said after the game.

"That's the way I operate. If we lose then we're in on Sundays.

"It upsets one or two but that's the way we do it and if we win they get a day off.

"The chances we had in the first half were as good as they get and we're looking for people to deliver what we know they can deliver, not take liberties.

"I think we've got a decent team but we also seem to have some players who seem to think promotion's just going to be given to them.

"At the start of the season everyone said we knew what it would take to get back up first time and I think we do, but players need to be doing what they're out there to do."
