Albion fan Sam Field has agreed his first professional contract with the club.

The 18-year-old has signed a one-year contract, with another year in the club's favour, after progressing through the club's academy.

Field made his senior debut on the final game of the season against Liverpool after coming off the bench in the 86th minute.

He was then called up to the England Under-18 squad that flew out to South Korea, but was sent off on his debut for the young Three Lions.

The midfielder, who was voted Albion's Academy Player of the Year 2015/16, joins fellow Academy graduates Tyler Roberts and Jonathan Leko in signing their first professional deals with the club this year.
