"If we keep playing well and creating chances the ball will start going into the net," he said after the 1-0 defeat at Upton Park.

"After getting through the first 25 minutes, I thought we were dominant today and I'm very disappointed that we didn't get anything out of the game.

"We had lots of chances from set-plays and should be scoring goals but our finishing was poor.

"Overall, our approach play was very good but, unfortunately, we didn't get anything out of the game.

"That's three successive Premiership matches now where we've made great chances but missed them and that can only be bad play by us.

"All I know is that if we keep playing like we did today, then we'll win more than we lose."
