Despite scoring numerous times for his country and finding the back of the net on a regular occurrence, Zoltan Gera has claimed his goal at Molineux last night was the most important strike of his career.

The Magic Magyar struck in the 59th minute to break Wolves hearts and send Albion two points clear at the top of the Championship with only three games of the season remaining.

"If we go up it will be my most important goal," the Hungarian international said.

"At the moment we have three games to go and if we go up the goal will be very important.

"But I scored an important goal in the Premier League against Everton.

"That was a big win for us.

"Last night, I just had to take my chance.

"Sometimes there is pressure on you when it is an easy chance in a big game or a derby.

"But I didn't think about what would happen if I missed.

"I just concentrated on my chance and I was very happy I scored.

"I would like to score in the next game but the most important thing is to win the match.

"Everybody celebrated with me because I scored the goal but Kevin Phillips gave it to me with a great ball.

"It's a team game with 11 players from the keeper to the strikers so it's all about the team."
