Huddersfield performance disappoints Pardew

Disappointed Alan Pardew admits his side deserved to lose their must-win clash against Huddersfield.

Albion were two down before Craig Dawson headed one back but the Baggies were unable to find a much needed equaliser.

"We didn't get the performances or the performance as a team that we wanted today, so we’ve come away with a disappointing defeat," said Pardew.

“We were nervy, we knew how important it was and all those factors made us play erratically and give the ball away so often at times.

“The first goal was important today and we didn't get it.

“We’ve got to try and think of a way of getting a win, whatever way it comes, because now a victory is absolutely essential for us."
