"I don't know which club I'll be with next season but I have really enjoyed my experience here at Leeds," he told the Yorksire clubs official website.
"Kevin (Blackwell) and his staff have shown faith in me when others doubted me, especially having been out for so long at West Brom. I do really like it here and I hope we can come to some agreement.
"I know I haven't got a future with West Brom and I've known that since Christmas through a few things the chairman has said to me, but that's football.
"But we have to wait and see what happens this summer."
