Tony Mowbray intends to find some "new heroes" for West Brom fans after selling Diomansy Kamara and Jason Koumas for a combined £11.3million.Wales midfielder Koumas followed Senegal star Kamara out of The Hawthorns exit door after joining Wigan for £5.3million on Tuesday. Kamara on Monday secured a move to Fulham for £6million after tabling a transfer request. Baggies boss Mowbray, who has already signed Craig Beattie and Shelton Martis this summer, is now scouring the transfer market for suitable replacements.
He said: "I would like to wish Jason well and thank him for his contribution last season. He is a wonderful talent and this is a fantastic opportunity for him. Most importantly though, this deal will allow me to add new players to the squad who will hopefully become new heroes in what promises to be an exciting time for the club."
