Kiely calls for Albion 'response'

Dean Kiely has stressed the need for a positive response from West Brom against Wolves on Sunday after the end of their long unbeaten run.Tony Mowbray's side saw their promotion hopes suffer a setback when beaten 2-1 at home by Sunderland on Saturday - their first reversal in nine league games since New Year's Day. But Kiely refused to blame a gruelling schedule for Albion's below-par display against the Black Cats, who have taken 26 points from the last ten games in the Championship.
Kiely said: "I don't think we were as effective or caused Sunderland as many problems as we wanted. We are all big boys. We've got to take it on the chin. We weren't in top gear but credit to Sunderland. They got a result. I don't think we were going to the end of the season, playing fantastic football and winning every week like a procession. We will now be looking for a response next Sunday in the derby. The response has got to be there from Monday morning. There are a good group of lads in the changing room. We will enjoy a week's training in each other's company and get ready for Sunday."
