Jason Koumas is confident he will be fit for West Brom's finale to their bid to gain promotion to the Premiership. The Wales international suffered a calf injury towards the end of Monday's 3-2 reversal at Burnley but is optimistic he will be ready for Saturday's clash at Coventry. That game at Turf Moor sparked a welcome return by Koumas to the standards which had seen him named in the PFA's Championship team of the season.
He said: "That game at Burnley gave me the confidence I've maybe lacked a little bit. I've had a tough time and I haven't been playing well for the last month or so. I've had injury niggles as well which haven't helped. But we've got some major games coming up with a massive game at Wembley in the play-offs at stake and I want to be play a major part in getting us up. I got studs in my calf right at the end of the Burnley game but I am fit."
