Livermore: It's been a team effort

Albion's goalscoring hero against Tottenham Hotspur Jake Livermore thanked his teammates and the club's backroom team for the Baggies end-of-season rejuventation. 

Livermore has been one of Albion's best performers under Darren Moore and scored his second goal in three games when he poked home in the 92nd minute to extend the club's stay of execution from relegation. 

“I thought the lads were fantastic today," Livermore said in his post match interview. 

“I could go through every single one of them – they all left everything out there.

“The staff as well in terms of the fine details we have put into set-pieces and defending.

“We knew it was going to be tough today and ride the storm at times and we certainly did that.

“Everyone has played their part in recent in recent weeks and I thank them all.

“It’s not ideal to come up against a side who have lots of the ball and the weather is really hot.

“It was difficult conditions but I am delighted for the boys involved, Darren and all the staff at the Club."
