West Brom defender Paul McShane is available for the remainder of the club's promotion challenge after the FA upheld his red card appeal. The former Manchester United player was facing a four-match ban for his second red card of the season after he clashed heads with Burnley midfielder James O'Connor at Turf Moor on Monday. Albion appealed against the dismissal and an FA disciplinary panel on Thursday ruled in their favour. It means McShane can play in the final two Championship matches of the season plus the play-offs should the Baggies retain their place in the top six. McShane's presence is crucial as skipper Curtis Davies and Neil Clement are already ruled out through injury and suspension for the remainder of the campaign.
