The Wales international midfielder put in another superb performance during the goalless draw with Sunderland on Saturday following on from the same kind of willingness he showed in Albions 2-1 Carling Cup win at Newcastle last week.
“He’s not just playing his best football for
West Brom, he’s playing the best football he’s ever played," Megson told the clubs official website after saturdays game.
"I knew him as a youngster at NorwichCit and saw him a few times at Forest but his performances today and on Wednesday were top, top draw.
"He has played both games in the same manner, up and down, box to box
.“He’s a very fit and honest lad and keeps going. He has an exceptional engine.”
