Mowbray eyes return to winning ways

Manager Tony Mowbray believes back-to-back home games this week will present West Brom with an ideal opportunity to return to winning ways. The Baggies have slipped off the pace at the top of the Championship after successive 3-2 defeats on the road against Southampton and Colchester. Blackpool visit the Hawthorns on Tuesday, with another home game against Norwich looming at the weekend, and Mowbray is hopeful his team can get back on track.

He said: "We have a good record at home so far and we have a good chance this week to set things right and collect some points and get back on track quickly. Playing in front of your own fans does make a big difference so we will be looking to take advantage of that this week. Hopefully the two defeats away won't affect our confidence at The Hawthorns and we will go into the game against Blackpool looking to get all three points. It won't be easy though as they are a good side. They have only lost twice this season and patience may be the key."
