Albion chairman Jeremy Peace has paid homage to the Club's fantastic away fans as the Baggies prepare to take at least 3,500 fans to Oakwell on Saturday (KO 3pm). Just as within recent seasons Albion are again providing free travel taking 40 coaches to Barnsley following the success of trips to Norwich, Wigan, Middlesborough, Charlton, Sunderland and West Ham - winning all but one at the Riverside.

"The backing our away supporters give the team seems to get better every year," Peace declared.

"It really has been a sight to behold this season and the free coach travel is a thank you for their loyal support.

"Their backing is appreciated by everyone at the club - particularly the manager and players - and I'm delighted we'll be taking a huge following to Barnsley for what is a vital game.

"We've also sold our 6,000 allocation for the following Saturday's FA Cup tie at Coventry, which promises to be a great occasion."
