After months of speculation it seems that Kevin Phillips will sign a contract extension at West Bromwich Albion with the lure of the Premiership proving a major factor. It's believed that Phillips wanted a two-year deal with the club only willing to offer a one-year deal with a second appearance related option.
"We have come to terms with the fact there may not be two years on offer," Phillips' agent Phil Smith said.
"The lure of Premier League football again is very big."
