Pulis frustrated with finishing after Cup shock

Tony Pulis says Albion should’ve beaten Northampton Town after missing a flurry of chances during their league cup third round exit.

Town took the lead before goals either side of half time from James McClean and Gareth McAuley turned the game in Albion’s favour.

But Boaz Myhill’s fumble nine minutes from full time allowed the Cobblers to equalise and send the game to extra time.

After a goaless 30 minutes, James Morrison and Saido Berahino missed from the spot and saw Albion crash out.

"The difference was both boxes. We've created chances and not put them away and we've given them two poor goals for us,” said Pulis.

"On another night, you would hope we create as many chances but score more goals."
