Robson Gets Bruce Backing

Bruce, who played with Robson during their days together at Manchester Utd in the eighties and nineties, saw first hand on Saturday just what a difficult task the new Baggies boss has in keeping the club in the top-flight but he said that if anyone can keep them in the Premier League it will be his old Reds compratriot.

"Obviously, Bryan Robson has a big job on his hands but he has the resilience to come out on top," said the Birmingham boss after his side had just beaten the Baggies 4-0 at St Andrew's.

"But he has a tough job on his hands," he added.

The defeat against the Blues left the Baggies rock bottom of the Premier League going into Christmas and no club that has been in that position going into the festive period has ever escaped the drop!!
