"I felt that we started the first couple of games really well. But the last three have just not been good enough.
"The two goals we conceded here were bad ones. We switched off for both of their goals and how Wigan managed to create their second one is beyond me.
"It is going to be a long hard season but to lose in this manner is very disappointing."
