Jay Simpson has revealed he's on his way to The Hawthorns after letting slip the deal on TALKSPORT. The soon to be 20-year-old striker, who spent last season on loan at Millwall and scooped the PFA Fans' League One Player of the Year, made his Arsenal debut earlier this season in the Carling Cup - but has yet to make a Premiership appearance.

The striker, who can also operate on the right wing, is expected to sign for the rest of the season and is hoping to gain top-flight experience.

"My advisors have arranged for me to join West Brom on loan," the Tottenham born youngster revealed.

"They play good football and hopefully I'll get some first-team experience which will give me a good chance at Arsenal in the long-term.

"Playing regularly will help me develop my game."
