On-loan defender Sam Sodje has assured West Brom manager Tony Mowbray he is willing to continue playing through the pain barrier.Sodje carried a knee injury into Bank Holiday Monday's 2-1 win over Norwich at Carrow Road, where he scored Albion's equaliser. But the 27-year-old Nigerian, who has joined the Baggies' promotion push from Premiership Reading, continues to be troubled by the problem ahead of Friday's clash with Sheffield Wednesday.
Sodje said: "I do not even know what the problem is, but I can feel something behind my right knee is not right. I am a fighter and I will not go off because I have got a little niggle so I am going to put my foot in, do anything for the manager and give 120% I will fight through the pain and will not lie down for anyone, I will not go home and start crying - it is about having heart."
