Norwich manager Glenn Roeder has confirmed that on-loan striker John Hartson has returned to West Bromwich Albion after a month at Carrow Road. The 32-year-old joined the Canaries last month on an initial one-month loan deal with the possibility of extending his stay until December 31. However after just two games at the helm Roeder has seen enough of the burly striker to decide not to extend his stay. Hartson made four appearances for the club during his stay and whilst he failed to find the net was influential in the comeback against Ipswich in the East Anglian derby last Sunday after arriving as a half-time substitute.
