West Brom striker Kevin Phillips is hoping to end his goal drought against Derby, but insists he is not motivated by thoughts of revenge. The 33-year-old Baggies frontman is still smarting from the 2-1 loss suffered at Pride Park, where the visitors had dominated proceedings. Phillips goes into The Hawthorns return without a goal from his last six outings and with Albion having won only one of their last seven Championship fixtures.
He said: "We should never have lost that game at Pride Park but it is not as if we owe Derby one or we are out for revenge - we owe ourselves a performance and we owe it to our supporters as well. We are on a bad run at the moment and I, for one, am low on confidence. I have not scored since my hat-trick at Ipswich in the middle of October but that is something I intend putting right against Derby."
