Filipe Teixeria has joined Championship rivals Barnsley on a month’s loan. The tricky wideman has been restricted to just one start and eight appearances from the bench this term as the Portuguese has struggled to force his way in to Roberto Di Matteo’s thoughts.
The former Paris St Germaine midfielder, who joined the Baggies for £600,000 back in 2007 from Academica de Coimbra, is out of contract at The Hawthorns in the summer.
*Leon Barnett has extended his loan spell at Coventry until the end of the season. The central defender has impressed at The Ricoh Arena making 11 appearances for the Sky Blues.
