Wasteful Albion frustrate Pulis

Tony Pulis thinks Albion need a slice of luck in front of goal after the Hammers knocked Albion into shape with a 3-0 defeat at The Hawthorns.

The Baggies wasted a number of chances before Cheikhou Kouyate opened the scoring in the 34th minute with a close range header.

Mark Noble then scored either side of half time to continue Albion’s poor form as the season comes to a disappointing climax.

“We didn't get the breaks. We needed a break and how Antonio cleared Gardner's shot off the line I don't know,” said Pulis

The break that we deserved just wasn't there.

Their first two goals owed a little to good fortune - once you give a team like West Ham those goals, with the players they have, then they punish you.

We have had plenty of chances - again, at home - but not put them away.”
