Chris Brunt reserved praise for his teammate Salomon Rondon after the striker netted a 13 minute hat-trick.
Brunt set up Rondon's last two goals with two trademark crosses from the left which were clinically put away by the striker.
"He works every so hard for us without reward sometimes," said Brunt, who was celebrating his birthday.
"I was delighted to see him get his goals, he really deserved it."
